It may very well indeed be five o’clock somewhere. But I’ve still got a crapload of new albums to listen to and blather about. So I don’t have too much time to spend thinking up clever chit-chat about today’s new album announcements — except to say that there are two score of them, including titles from Ron Sexsmith, Vanessa Carlton and Best Coast, to name but three. One of the more interesting entries on the roster (for me, anyway) is Years, country veteran John Anderson’s upcoming collaboration with none other than the ubiquitous Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.
