Classic Anthology Review: Everclear | Ten Years Gone: The Best Of 1994-2004

This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

Singer-guitarist Art Alexakis and his grunge-pop outfit rewind the hits and highlights of their heyday.

Songs: 21.

Actual Hits: Nearly all of them, from early tracks like Heroin Girl and Santa Monica to newer stuff like Volvo Driving Soccer Mom and Rock Star.

Missing In Action: Heartspark Dollarsign seems like a no-brainer.

Extras! Extras! Two half-decent outtakes from last year’s Slow Motion Daydream; a couple of soundtrack cuts, including a cover of Thin Lizzy’s The Boys Are Back in Town.
