Nashville’s Scatter The Ashes seamlessly, effortlessly and remarkably gene-splice searing guitars, complex time signatures, moody atmospheres and high-wire vocals into a compelling hybrid that is simultaneously familiar and utterly individual. Granted, right now they’re still sifting the ashes of what’s come before them. But give them a couple of years and albums, and they have the potential to blaze a trail others will be hard-pressed to follow.
