Classic Album Review: Reverend Horton Heat | Revival

This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

They don’t call him Rev for nothing.

Psychobilly singer-guitarist Jim Heath and his boys truly put the pedal to the metal this time out, bolting through a turbocharged (if somewhat predictable) twangfest of jumped-up, reverb-drenched odes to two-fisted drinking, honkytonk girls and calling in sick the morning after.
