Moxxy Jones Refuse To Go Unnoticed

The synth-pop duo dive deep into human existence on their new full-length release.

Moxxy Jones command your attention with their sleek and supple synth-pop album Unnoticed — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

Available in Dolby Atmos, the collection features 11 original tracks by the San Francisco duo of keyboardist / bass player Frank and guitar player Milan — joined by powerhouse vocalists Trent Park, Elle Rhodes (formerly known as Isabelle), Mariami and others. The album was produced by Milan, Frank and Starita (Madame Gandhi, A Tribe Called Quest, Childish Gambino), with contributions from mixing engineers Jaimeson Durr and Jaime Sickora, along with mastering from Joe LaPorta, Justin Weiss and Daddy Kev. It was recorded at renowned studios including Henson Studios and Sunset Sound in Los Angeles.

Unnoticed showcases the contrasts between harmonies rooted in classical music and singer-songwriter styles, with musical elements that highlight the hard edges of dissonance and avant-garde tones. This pulls the album tracks in opposing directions, instilling a musical tension that blends modern pop with industrial, R&B, and alternative rock, all with an ’80s and ’90s flair. This tension creates Moxxy Jones’ surprising and unforgettable signature sound, with some songs nearing a rock-pop or synth-wave quality and others defying genres entirely. Ultimately, Unnoticed is a study of what happens when art comes first, creative collaboration is at the forefront, and no one but the artist decides how a debut album should sound.

Notable tracks include Never, which blends industrial synths and funk bass, creating a dark, moody vibe inspired by the Miami Vice soundtrack. Another Yesterday features Rhodes and captures the essence of ’80s pop with a modern twist. With Letting Go of You, the duo showcase their ability to construct a powerful pop-rock anthem reminiscent of U2 and The 1975, celebrating the empowerment found in letting go of a relationship. Throughout the album, the duo enlisted the help of a wide range of vocalists, making the release a collaborative effort and ensuring different sounds, influences and messages imbue their work.

Moxxy Jones’ style emanates from their fearless creative process — a relentless push and pull that isn’t restrained by ego, genres, or boundaries of the music business. Their sound is untraditional, unexpected yet familiar, modern, energetic yet dark, and that has boundless sonic range paired with classical elements, catchy melodies/hooks, driven beats, juxtaposed lyrics, and layered harmonic underpinnings. Unnoticed’s deep dive into the human experience allows fans to ride the wide sonic rollercoaster of emotions, sit comfortably in discomfort, see beauty in brokenness, and experience harmony and dissonance all at once.

Previous singles from this album have garnered enthusiastic responses, reaching over 18 million streams and views. As Moxxy Jones embark on this new chapter, the duo continues to push the boundaries of musical creativity and genre-blending. Their commitment to authentic artistry and fearless experimentation promises an unforgettable listening experience.
