Maja rises to the occasion on her new single Falling — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
The teenage frontwoman of German punk band Pastor Gerald changes her tune but not her intensity on her debut solo outing, trading the aggression of her main gig for a sound somewhere between vintage indie-rock and turbocharged singer-songwriter folk.
Falling is “a song for all those who flee from their own thoughts, even though they have long been trapped in them,” she says. “When fear takes over and all that’s left is a mixture of nothingness and abundance.”
