Recorded at the second annual Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee, 270 Miles From Graceland documents one of the most eclectic musical gatherings around, with performances by everyone from jammers (The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, North Mississippi Allstars), troubadours (Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Ben Kweller), avant-garde rockers (Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips, Tortoise) and just plain oddballs (the Up With Peoplesque Polyphonic Spree). It’s a long, strange and wonderful trip.
