Chicago’s Viva Acid Multi-Day Funktion Back For Third Season

The annual Acid House celebration offers daytime workshops & nightly music.

Celebrating Chicago’s vibrant Acid House scene, Viva Acid’s Multi-Day Funktion returns for another round from Oct. 5 – 9. Paying homage to the roots of this Chicago-born genre, the schedule will include events, workshops and set to initiate conversations that foster broader creativity while inspiring forward-thinking innovation across the industry.

The immersive event will host a run of talks, along with tiered workshops and a classic flyer exhibition at Q Studios on Oct. 5 – 7 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. They will be followed by electrifying DJ-focused activations across various locations in the city, as part of the sustained night-time schedule which will run from 10 p.m. until late Oct. 5 – 8.

Night-time entertainment will be presented at Smartbar, Emporium, Cerise and a secret undisclosed venue yet to be announced. Featuring an incredible lineup that includes Mystic Bill, Eris Drew, Ciel, Jana Rush, Glenn Underground, Mike Dearborn, Woody McBride and more, this will draw local, national and international visitors.
