The Less You Know, The Better | Four Mysterious New Albums Worth Hearing

Introducting Deadeye Navigator, Onoskelis, Kinetic Orbital Strike & Yours Sincerely.

A little mystery can be a good thing. Especially these days.

Sprinkled amid the hundreds of gushing press releases, oversharing bios and TMI missives that assault my email on a daily basis, I get tons of albums, EPs and singles that come bearing zero information. No bio, no band photo, no detailed liner notes — sometimes no credits at all. Where do these people come from and what are they up to? Do they not want publicity? Are they making some kind of statement? Or are they just woefully inept at self-promotion? I don’t know, and frankly I don’t care. Nor do I want to waste my time trying to track them down online. I’d rather just listen to (and share) their albums without knowing every detail of their lives. In a way, it reminds me of the old days when you would walk into a record store and buy an album based on the cool cover art or because you heard it played on the store stereo. With that in mind, here are some of the latest and greatest mysterious musical offerings to come my way:

Deadeye Navigator
Retronoid

Onoskelis
Unheard Horrors of the Third Dimension

Kinetic Orbital Strike
Kinetic Orbital Strike

Yours Sincerely
