Les Rappeurs en Carton | Kids

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Hip-Hop.
THE TRANSLATED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Les Rappeurs en Carton, a band from Lille, brings together three rock and protein bar musicians. They impose themselves on the scene with an adolescent hip-hop and a crazy desire to “take life as it comes” — as they chant in it one of their flagship songs. Supporters of positive thinking, fully assuming their dual rap and rock culture, they pour out their gentle rebellion on catchy melodies or outings from video games. Their project? That of imposing oneself on the stages with an adolescent hiphop whose improbable flow begs you to be happy and this, without ever being in caricature. It is with this philosophy that they drew their path very early. Kids comes from the next EP Volume 2 scheduled for fall 2020. It is a wandering on a funfair background where 120, surrounded by his two acolytes Charly and Monkey, tells us how much he wants to go beyond the world of his parents to “grow up” at the same time as he thanks them for allowing him to be as he is. Just as we find ourselves immersed with them in the ball pool, it is in the midst of the values that they defend that we identify. Because it’s true, we all try to do better than our parents without sometimes daring to say it.They claim it fearlessly and that forces us to reflect on the following: have we really all grown up?”

fredoX | Sans Contact

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Funk-Pop.
THE TRANSLATED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:FredoX clashes with his songs bursting with blues, funk or jazz, infusing them with an offbeat and jubilant groove to deliver a spicy repertoire. We find influences of punk, jazz, and blues in his music but he surprises with his originality and with delirious and funny texts. Fredox stands out from the rest to admit it all, it feels really good.”

Excelsior | Love Floor

GENRE: Psyche-pop.
THE BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “Coming straight from Ajaccio, Corsica, Arnaud Castelli presents his new project: Excelsior. Behind this name lies a pop alternative music. Love Floor is the first single from the Excelsior project, straight from Ajaccio, in Corsica. With reminiscences of the Californian sound, we find ourselves in a love supermarket, where the protagonist comes to spend his feelings, but finds himself trapped … “

Nothing But Real | Crisis

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Rock.
THE BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Nothing But Real is a hybrid influenced mainly by fusion, alternative rock and metal. The four members of the project confirm a guideline: A rock skillfully mixing the lyricism and flow of Hanta with passive pop and alternative rock, the energy of Eghan from punk rock, David’s groove with reggae and hip hop affinities and the heaviness of the riffs as much as the aerial phases of Tom from stoner and progressive rock. This is the composite asset of Nothing But Real: Different educations, common aspirations and in the result, if everyone could bring their touch, their aesthetics and their guts, homogeneity, a common thread and a real difference in current production. Crisis deals with violent manifestation, sudden onset of an illness, a disorder. In a romantic relationship, it announces the end of feelings, separation with loss and noise where hatred prevails over love. This track is the second from our upcoming album. A soft one…”

Jr EakEe | Love Machine

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Electronica.

Thibault Eskalt | Scaphandre

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Indie-Rock.
THE BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “Exiled in the silence of the desert, Thibault Eskalt reveals climatic music. The melodies fly, sensitive and powerful, emotion in the background. He sings of melancholy, that found in the land of lands scorched by the cold. His voice echoes Christophe, Bon Iver or London Grammar, echoing in the vastness. It covers synth pads and rises among the guitars. The mighty beauty of a singer who embodies loneliness and dreams high enough to guide those who stay at low tide. In Scaphandre, Thibault Eskalt’s new French-pop title, he takes us far from Earth’s gravity.”

Pitchou | Rainy Gion
