I have good news and bad news about The Boss's three-night Fallon residency.

If you’re a Bruce Springsteen fan — and who isn’t, really? — I have good news and bad news. The good news: The Boss will sing tunes from his new soul-covers album Only The Strong Survive on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon three nights next week. The bad news: Fallon is almost guaranteed to bust out his Springsteen impression, make Bruce play some dumb frat-boy game, and generally be his eternally annoying, overly enthusiastic self. I recommend watching the musical clips online or recording the show and skipping past the crap. But don’t skip past some of the other excellent performances coming down the pipe. Such as:
