We’re in the midst of a mayoral election where I live, and the frontrunner was just very publicly and credibly exposed as — and I’m paraphrasing here — a drunken, incompetent buffoon and serial sexual harasser. Now, you’d like to think that would disqualify someone from office, but these days, it might just put them over the top. On the plus side, it should make for a more interesting campaign.
