This Montrealer and former member of popsters Northstar makes his solo debut with The Inhuman Condition, an impressively strong sampler of his tightly crafted power-pop. Produced by Blinker The Star mastermind Jordon Zadorozny, these six tracks balance the snappy songcraft, gritty guitars and multi-layered harmonies of Sloan with touches of contemporary Britpop a la The Beatles and Oasis. With a combination like that, how can he lose?
