Faron Sage Can’t Make Head Or Tail Of What’s Going On

‘How do we know who to believe?’ the animated musician asks in his new single.

Faron Sage believes truth has become a toss-up in his politically charged single and lyric video Head Or Tail — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

Can we trust the mainstream narrative? Should we trust the establishment and accept the status quo? Animated U.K. musician Faron Sage questions our accepted worldview and the intentions of authority on his revolutionary new single Head Or Tail. Landing somewhere between hip-hop and Sleaford Mods, the track is bolstered by riveting synths and electronica-laced production. “How do make head or tail of what’s going on when what’s going on is a tale of too many heads going on and on and on?” Faron raps with a defiant spirit.

“In this era of increasingly controlling behaviour amongst the powers that be, coupled with the apparently limitless freedom and possibility of the internet age, Head Or Tail asks: How do we know what to believe?” Sage says. “It feels like everybody’s shouting and nobody’s listening.” Offering a lucid observation of the times we live in, Head Or Tail doesn’t attempt to answer all the questions it poses, but merely asks the listener to think and decide for themselves.

Faron Sage is a socially-conscious artist exploring some of the pressing issues at the heart of 21st century life. This is music and thoughts for a better world. Watch Head Or Tail above, sample more of Faron Sage below, and find him at his website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
