Monday Mixtape | 56 Songs To Get You Back Up To Speed (Side 1)

How was your weekend? Mine was excellent. I flew to Toronto to see a trio of great concerts: Dark lords Nick Cave and Warren Ellis (godlike, intense and compelling), hometown heroes Lowest Of The Low (scrappy, exuberant and rabble-rousing) and the inimitable, incomparable Sparks (colourful, fun-loving and irresistible). The prevailing mood of all the gigs: Celebratory. No matter the setting, the genre or the crowd, everybody (including me) was just overjoyed to be enjoying live music again. Now I’m back on the couch, where I’ll be spending the next few days getting caught up on work (and waiting to see if I got the plague; so far, so good). In the meantime, let me get you up to speed on today’s new singles, videos, cover tunes and remixes. Today’s Tinnitist-approved cuts are flagged with a 🔊. Welcome back:
