Late Night TV Music (Turnstile + Full House Edition) | March 2, 2022

Turnstile keep it going, Nick Cave & Benson Boone see ghosts, and more.

It was another big night of music on TV — especially if you happen to be a fan of Turnstile.

The rising Baltimore hardcore outfit continued their recent roll with a blistering performance of Mystery on Jimmy Kimmel Live — and then followed up with off-air (but YouTube-available) versions of Blackout, Don’t Play and Holiday. Also not playing around: Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, delivering a fittingly haunting version of Ghosteen Speaks to The Late Late Show With James Corden. On the poppier side of the fence, Benson Boone kept the spooky theme going by crooning his own Ghost Town during his late-night debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers, while Latino pretty-boy Sebastián Yatra shared his appreciation for Tacones Rojos on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. And only because it’s been so long since we had a full house of performances from all five chat shows, I included Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban’s comedy song about ice cream from The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Bon appetit.
