When you’re naked on TV and nobody notices for two days, is that really a compliment? I don’t know. But it’s what happened to Kacey Musgraves this week.
Turns out the singer actually performed in the buff — while hiding behind a strategically placed acoustic guitar — on Saturday Night Live last weekend. I suspect she and her handlers expected the Internet to go bananas. Until it didn’t. So today they put out a press release to let us know what happened — and to claim it was an homage to Jenny in Forrest Gump, so that it didn’t seem like she was just trying to grab some cheap headlines with a pointless stunt (which she totally was).
