Stanley Quinn | Throw That Paper / Never Stop / Mr. Right

HOME BASE: Luxembourg.
GENRE: Electronica.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “I’m a music artist from Luxembourg. I’m a rapper, singer, songwriter & producer. I don’t have a genre or type. I’m open-minded towards every music style. I started doing music seriously five years ago. I produce tracks with English vocals that I find for free on the Internet. My rap songs are in German, English & my native language Luxembourgish. My dream is to fill the world with music and reach as many people as possible. Music is like magic. This is what I live for. Every beat is like a heartbeat. Every word you say is like a song. Music is a cure. It can help you in any situation. It understands you or may teach & console in dark times. Music is the language we all speak and feel. Music teaches us to listen. So we should also listen more to each other. At least at doing music. Throw That Paper is a party song. There’s no deeper meaning behind it. I wanted to create a catchy vibe to dance to. Sometimes, we only need sounds that make us move without thinking too much. Never Stop is about never giving up. Follow your dreams and don’t let anyone bringing you down. Sometimes it’s very hard to stay on your path but you shouldn’t stop. Never. Not a moment. Mr. Right is a song about being in love from the view of a woman. It tells you how wonderful it is to fall in love. I want the people to cheer up with my music. The feeling of love comes along with spring. So, I tried to capture this all in a song.”

Allebou | Tismé + Bresom (Live Session)

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Rap.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “The young rapper Allebou is today at the center of the circle: An instrument, a microphone, a few dim lights, a lot of flow, and it doesn’t take Manceau any more to burst the screen. Easy on both the romantic Tismé and the very edgy Bresom, in less than 10 minutes he shows off all his talent, showing a wide range of emotions and styles for the rap game. It’s enough to make us want to dive back into his first album Synthèse Additive and its 2020 reissue.”

Pao Barreto | Buscando el Sol

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: World.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “With the forthcoming album Spiralis, Pao Barreto shares two aspects of his universe: On the one hand alive, warm and full of joy; and on the other mystical and introspective. His compositions draw on a multitude of styles: Festive Caribbean rhythms (porro, champeta, cumbia) rub shoulders with highly reverberated electronic sounds, with touches of soul, funk and reggae. His texts, in Spanish and French, celebrate the themes which are dear to him: The connection to nature, the cyclical rhythm of everything and the capacity of each one to transform. Spiralis is an album to listen to with closed eyes or to dance happily. In either case, you will be carried away by a transcendent spiral.”

Two Sevens | 207

HOME BASE: United Kingdom.
GENRE: Synth-Pop.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:207 is a track taken from our debut mini-album, It was co-written with Stuart Moxham from iconic band Young Marble Giants. Cassette | She Feels For You!

GENRE: Pop-Rock.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “The lead singer of Cassette is passionate about planetary change and bringing out awareness about just how bad we are treating our environment and animals. The extremely bad situation our planet is in needs to be adressed promtly, and if the message can be infuenced by music, that will be the future path of Cassette’s songs. The first release is a rock/pop song about love. She Feels For You! has a 1990s feel and is raw and genuine.”

Lizae | Ecotone

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Synth-Pop.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Lizaē is an artist of introspective poetry and skilfully wrought sound textures. Lizaē’s music is confidently grandiloquent, with electronic contours and deconstructed voices, drawing its strength from the energy of its elegant and untamed natural-born performer. Ēcotone is Lizaē’s debut EP. This first opus reflects the artist’s powerful imagery and poetic writing. Through the five tracks runs a flourishing, thriving evocation of nature merged with flesh. This new ecosystem speaks to us of the intimate in a universal way. Musically it is reminiscent of James Blake, Woodkid or Laura Mvula; artists who like to mix genres, and use their roots to enrich creations that resolutely resonate with the times. Lizaē also tells her story through collages that reveal her further depths and her questioning of her identity.”

The lyrics, which were strongly inspired by the aftermath of social distancing, appear as a strong message of love addressed to as many people as possible. Peggy James | Can’t Do Lonely Anymore

HOME BASE: United States.
GENRE: Country.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Peggy James was born in Milwaukee, but spent her formative years in the Southwest. This desert Americana flavor influences all of her songs, allowing her style to be both unique and eclectic. Her lyrics are honest and direct, shooting straight from the heart. Her voice, clear and sweet, can get tough and rock ’n’ roll with the best of them. Can’t Do Lonely Anymore is the third single culled from ner most recent album Paint Still Wet, in which she channels a Peggy Lee persona that smacks of smoked-filled clubs where she laments her loneliness and begs the return of her lost love.”

Londe | Real Life

THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “I grew up surrounded by melodies: Jazz songs sung by my mother, classic sweetness from my father’s piano and rock sounds from my brothers’ guitars. Music has given me the power to express emotions that I could not express differently. Over the years, I have understood that it occupies a therapeutic place in my life. Meetings and emotions transmitted to the public by my voice were a trigger. Tears, smiles and thanks in concert made me aware of my ability to hatch strong physical and emotional manifestations. My first EP Patchwork is rooted in different various musical influences. It leaves room for everyone to identify with the songs … Real Life combines electronic and authentic sounds of R&B, soul, trap and Latin music. It talks about the desire to be reborn and to switch back to real life with lightness and positivity.”

Blitz Union | Plastic (Zardonic Remix)

HOME BASE: Czechia.
GENRE: Synth-Rock.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Blitz Union is a furious rock band that combine melodic pop toplines with hard rock and EDM. Using a blend of heavy guitar riffs, industrial metal overtones and melodic rock vocals, Blitz Union refuse to be put into a specific genre or seen-before category. This is also because the band stands for much more than music. Many people have expressed their views on plastics and the problems associated with them, with their overproduction. But no one cares how it is the other way around. What do plastics think of people….? Zardonic has remixed the original into an energetic drum ’n’ bass- / rave-inspired EDM anthem.”

Clide | Where Have I Gone (ft. Rnla)

HOME BASE: Germany.
GENRE: Pop.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “While Clide loves writing and singing piano ballads, he’s an outspoken aficionado of pop music, and likes modern & fresh sounds that build bridges between the genres of international pop, urban and R&B. Although still pretty young, Clide knows exactly what adjectives he wants his music to be associated with: Authentic, innovative and raw. He wants to talk about things that move him and are close to his heart. Of course, love is one of those things but so are questions around his own identity, the search for truth, dreams and interpersonal relationships. Where Have I Gone is a collaboration with Italian lo-fi pop producer Rnla. The introspective song touches on topics such as search of identity, the fear of losing yourself in a fast-paced world and depression.”
