Spiritualized make a rare appearance & Luke Combs celebrates the Allmans.

Well, here’s something you don’t see every day: Spiritualized on late-night American TV. But there they were, playing their southern-soul waltz I’m Your Man (not to be confused with the Leonard Cohen number) on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Gotta respect that. I also respect frontman Jason Pierce for bucking convention by performing while sitting down facing his bandmates instead of addressing the audience. Of course, that might be one reason why you don’t see them on TV more often. Since it’s another slow week on the late-night scene, with most shows on hiatus, that’s today’s only new clip. But here’s another song about a man that cropped up yesterday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s page: A pretty decent acoustic cover of The Allman BrothersRamblin’ Man from Luke Combs. That’s also something you don’t see every day.
