Late-Night TV Music (Fractional Edition) | Feb. 25, 2019

Lil Pump schools the late-night scene while Florida Georgia Line goes halfway.

Fractions don’t usually factor into the late-night talk show music equation. Except on Monday — a slow post-Oscars night that featured not one, not two, but one and a half performances. The half came from country douche-bros Florida Georgia Line, who took part in a comedy sketch on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. I won’t bother explaining the joke — you can watch the clip for yourself — but I will say that it beat having to watch them sing an entire song. And it basically left Lil Pump as the only game in town with his colourful, collegiate performance of Be Like Me — complete with cheerleaders and marching band drummers — on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Not half bad.
