Late-Night TV Music (Binge + Bonus Edition) | Jan. 10+11, 2022

Parquet Courts, Milky Chance, Robert Finley, Black Pumas + more kick off the week.

Sure, it’s the middle of January. And yeah, Omicron has put James Corden and Seth Meyers in timeout. But even so, things have been surprisingly busy on the televised music front, with half a dozen decent performances Monday and Tuesday.

But the best of the bunch turns out to be an unaired clip that just surfaced today — Parquet Courts blasting through an epic seven-minute version of their 2012 track Stoned and Starving for The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Check it out above. Then check out the rest of this week’s early action below — including more Parquet Courts, Robert Finley with Dan Auerbach, Milky Chance, Black Pumas, Cordae and Ryan Hurd. And don’t forget to catch Fontaines D.C. tonight on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. That should be good.
