It’s the same every year: The music business gradually shuts down for the year after U.S. Thanksgiving. And the late-night shows follow suit. If this week is any sign, we’ll soon be down to one or two performances per night. On Thursday, the biggest name on the roster was soul man Leon Bridges, who ditched his retro look to rock a Stetson (he is a Texan, after all) while he rocked The Late Late Show with James Corden with his backlit performance of Beyond. Meanwhile, over on Late Night with Seth Meyers, one-named popster Bazzi got inexplicably lost in some spooky, dry-iced woods for 3:15. And Last Call With Carson Daly pulled out two songs from sibling-led New York crew Lawrence, who brought the funk with Probably Up and Limbo. And that’s all she wrote. Enjoy your weekend. And speaking of bringing the funk, I suggest you start watching Mike Judge‘s Tales From the Tour Bus if you aren’t already.
