We all wish we were somewhere else sometimes. And on Monday night, musicians voiced those wishes on the late-night talk shows. Charli XCX and Troye Sivan longed for the good old days of, um, 1999 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Pentatonix looked forward to Sweater Weather on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Country-rockers Midland showed their love for the ’70s in the song Burn Out on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy loaded up the ark in anticipation of cleansing waters during Let’s Go Rain on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (above). And for those who wish it was still Friday night, I tossed in a few bonus clips from last week: Big Red Machine‘s performance of Gratitude on Friday’s Late Show, and two songs from moustache aficionados Houndmouth on Last Call With Carson Daly. Enjoy. And remember: Wherever you go, there you are.
