Classic Album Review: Tracy Byrd | Greatest Hits

This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

This is the affable country star’s third best-of — and it only covers his latest three CDs. So if you want oldies like Lifestyles Of The Not So Rich And Famous, you’re outta luck. If you’re after lighthearted recent hits like The Truth About Men, Drinkin’ Bone and Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo, step right up.

FIRST RELEASED: 1999 – 2003.

HIGHLIGHTS: New versions of old hits like Watermelon Crawl, Keeper Of The Stars and I’m From The Country.

EXTRAS! EXTRAS! Two new cuts: The John Mellencamp-like Johnny Cash and the honky-tonk boogie Revenge Of A Middle-Aged Woman.
