This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
STYLE: Bows and strings.
SOUNDS LIKE: A teenager who’s fit as a fiddler.
POINTED COMMENTS: Sierra Noble is 14. She’s a talented fiddler who focuses on the traditional Metis style, but also can handle Cajun, Celtic, country and other styles with ease. And she uses her gift to help fundraise for humanitarian causes. In other words, she’s the kind of precocious, totally together kid you’d normally love to hate. Once you hear her work her magic on this debut disc of instrumental gems, though, I expect you’ll change your mind.
STANDOUTS: It’s hard to beat crowd-pleasers like Red River Jig and Orange Blossom Special.
