This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
The Canadian pop duo rock around the Christmas tree with friends like Kim Mitchell, Barenaked Ladies’ Tyler Stewart, Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy, Rheostatics’ Dave Bidini and Cowboy Junkies’ Peter Timmins.
CHESTNUTS ROASTED: Only Three Ships — the other dozen songs are originals.
YULE LOVE: The Pretenders-like Glad It’s Christmas Time; the Phil Spectorish Best Christmas Ever; the punky Christmas in the Summertime.
YULE WISH: Their other albums were as consistently enjoyable as this.
