Classic Christmas Album Review: Jessica Simpson | ReJoyce

This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

The dimmest bulb on the tree shows off her holiday spirit on this jazzy pop outing — but before you laugh at her spelling, know that the disc was titled after her late granny.

CHESTNUTS ROASTED: Let it Snow; Baby it’s Cold Outside (with saintly hub Nick Lachey); Little Drummer Boy (with lip-synching sis Ashlee).

YULE LOVE: Guessing where Jess thinks chestnuts come from.

YULE WISH: That her 15 minutes were up already.
