This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

And on Brother Is To Son, he leads them through another magnificently idiosyncratic and entrancing sermon of gothic Americana folk, fuelled by banjo and jaw harp and laced with inspirational messages yelped in his shrieky, creaky, squeaky voice. Picture The Polyphonic Spree on a back porch and you’re halfway there.
