Now Hear This: Fuzz Evil | New Blood

The Arizona bros’ sophomore LP is the perfect album to blast at full volume the next time you do bong rips while speeding through the desert in a muscle car at 3 a.m.

THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE:Fuzz Evil are an electrifying band from the southern borderlands of Arizona who take inspiration from modern rock acts such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood and Tigercub — and use it to forge the hard-chugging, speaker-ripping rock monolith found on their latest album New Blood.

New Blood is a testament to the band’s growth and evolution, showcasing their unique blend of classic and contemporary rock elements. With every track on the album, Fuzz Evil demonstrate their musical prowess and dedication to creating a sonic experience that resonates deeply with their audience.

Brothers Wayne and Joey Rudell cut their teeth grinding through shows up and down the U.S. West Coast with their potent brand of high-energy fuzz-rock, establishing themselves as a prominent and upcoming act in the heavy rock genre. Wayne handles vocals and guitar duties, brings his charismatic stage presence and lyricism to the forefront, while Joey, who also served as the album’s engineer, lays down the thunderous bass lines that underpin their sound.

New Blood have shared the stage with acts like Uriah Heep, Nick Turner’s Hawkwind, Eagles Of Death Metal, Fu Manchu, Truckfighters, Acid King, Dead Meadow, Fatso Jetson, Crobot and many more. In 2018 The band recorded their debut album High On You with producer Paul Fig (Alice in Chains, Slipknot) at Dave Grohl’s legendary Studio 606, using the same console that captured iconic albums by Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Tom Petty, Elton John and Tool, among countless others.”
