This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
The film Bodysong, according to a press release I received, is a unique documentary film about life that uses a variety of media — home movies, still photos, famous film clips, scientific records — to paint a portrait of life from conception to cremation.
The record Bodysong, composed and performed mostly by Radiohead multi-instrumentalist Jonny Greenwood, is a unique soundtrack about 45 minutes long that uses a variety of musical styles — scratchy soundscapes, neo-classical strings, lush Frippian guitar weavings, clattering percussion clusters, bleeping electronics — to chart a course somewhere between outer space and inner space.
