Even though I was a teenage dumbass in the late ’70s — as opposed to the elderly dumbass I am now — I knew enough to plunk down less than $10 to see The Who on their final tour with Keith Moon. I was reminded of this today because the maniacally debauched drummer would be celebrating his 77th birthday, had he amazed everyone (including himself, one suspects) by not embodying the lyrics of My Generation nearly 45 years ago. What does that have nothing to do with this slate of 80-plus singles, videos, cover tunes, remixes, unburied treasures, golden oldies and live performances? Well, nothing. But hey, whaddaya want for free? Your Tinnitist-approved tracks are tagged with a ⭐️. Though it really should be a moon, shouldn’t it?
