As the TV writers’ strike wraps up its third month, I am reminded of the immortal words of Lee Dorsey (or Devo, if you prefer): How long can this go on?!? On the plus side, some of the latenighters are starting to dig a little deeper into the vault — see Wednesday’s Late Show featuring Bruce Springsteen’s 2021 appearance — while the daytimers stretch to fill the void and musicians take what they can get (Mammoth WVH on Today, anyone?) So all in all, I guess it could be worse — we could all be working in a coal mine (or walking a picket line). Anyway, here’s the lineup:
