Caravãna Sun Live In The Moments

A new day dawns for the Australian popsters with their upbeat single & video.

Caravãna Sun give in to the Moments on their infectious and life-affirming new single and video — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

A new day dawns for the Australian favourites with the release of their new single, a striking hit of indie-electro-pop that positions the band on the precipice of their most exciting new phase to date. As their first release for 2023, Moments demonstrates a period of revitalization that Caravãna Sun have embraced as a result of experimenting with their sound and diving deep into some areas of their artistry as-yet untapped. The result is an insatiable electronic-driven piece of music that will satisfy fans and leave newcomers with the most perfect of gateways to discover the group’s wider body of work.

The song itself was born during sessions Caravãna Sun laid down while on tour in Germany in 2022. Written in just 15 minutes, Moments captures the chaos of the idea of losing control and giving into the sensation and rush of the moment at hand. The band recorded Moments in Sydney at The Mattress Factory in Bankstown, working with engineer Peter Holz (Gang of Youths, Vance Joy).

Signed with Berlin’s Embassy of Music, the band are part of a heavyweight roster including Björk, Moby, and fellow Aussie act Ball Park Music. Caravãna Sun have toured Europe, playing over 300 shows and festivals including Boardmasters (U.K.), Madness (NL), Summer In The City (Germany), Boomtown (U.K.) and Reggae Sun Ska (France). They have also toured with iconic artists Madness, UB40, The Cat Empire and Fat Freddys Drop. Their hypnotic tune Whale Song was featured in the global award-winning documentary Seaspiracy, has been streamed more than a million times and charted in the U.K. and Germany.
