Steve & The Royal Motel hit the snooze button on reality in their soulfully bluesy new single I Dream Of Sunshine — premiering exclusively on Tinnitist.
Fronted by Sudbury’s own Steve Caruso, this new music showcases his journey back to what he loves most. Restless at heart, Caruso has jumped ships and switched horses more times than he can count. But his band are more about return return than departure.
Steve started playing guitar at 16 and practised obsessively for the first number of years. And then, 20 years ago, he gave up on music, he stopped playing gigs, he left behind the bands. He tried to settle down, dabbling in different jobs over those years, but when the pandemic hit, he found himself out of work. Steve turned back to songwriting. Now, he’s built a home to house his work and his music.
