Fimreite | Doktor What

THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Tøger Fimreite is an independent artist in Norway. He is an awarded composer who creates music for short films and art projects. His hallmark is writing experimental and avant-garde compositions for the small format. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, drums, and piano, and even had a short turn in a brass marching band (an experience he refuses to talk about). “Doktor What is my interpretation of the sci-fi series Doctor Who’s legendary theme song.,” he says. “Doktor What can be described as high-paced, instrumental experimental jazz, with a lot of elements and loaded with small trinkets and treats to give your brain something to work with. If you want a natural boost of adrenaline, Doktor What is your jazz fixer.”


Anjalts | On Your Side

Moon Construction Kit | Dead Man Walking

THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Moon Construction Kit is the musical project of Olivier Cornu, a singer-songwriter and producer in Lausanne. Recorded and produced by Olivier in his home studio, Moon Construction Kit’s self-titled debut debut album is a testimony of his love for The Beach Boys as well as for synthpop universe. Putting aside the synth-pop influences of his debut EP, this song represents the more organic side of Olivier’s musical influences. Mostly guitar- and piano-driven, this song evolves between feelings of joyful hope and sweet resignation, perfectly represented by the catchy end choruses.”


Kenzo Zurzolo | Imaginary Garden

Isaackito | E Isso Mesmo

José Côrte-Real | The Caravan

In ’92 he released his first solo album Columbus and the Côrte-Real. In ’96 he opened his own studio and produced his first platinium CD. He has been working in production and composing songs for movies and TV. He is also the composer and producer for The Tecnocratas and The New Swing Orchestra, Girls of Ipanema, Tim Jobim, Tropical Bossa Ensemble, and more.”

Youri Botterman | Progress

He was born in Rwanda and has lived in Congo and Reunion Island. He recently created a unique sample library with percussion and instruments he recorded from his travels throughout Africa. Progress, mixed by Burssbrain, marks his debut as solo artist. “My music is festive, authentic, and mixes different styles,” he says. “It tells the story of my life, long journeys between cultures, especially between Europe, Africa, and the islands, addressing themes of identity while remaining festive.”


Ieva Dubova | Ethereal Dream

GENRE: Neo-Classical.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Ethereal Dream is a piece from and album of 10 Preludes for Piano. The preludes are inspired by the mystic chord of Scriabin and use it in a variety of ways and transpositions to express the story of the creation of the world up to the age of humans. They move from texture-representing compositions to more full-grown melodic works as they progress and are given titles to represent this journey. Says Dubova: “I really enjoy creating an atmosphere with music and exploring the use of the piano to do so, setting a scene and immersing myself in it; a big part of which is to pay close attention to the resonance of the strings and giving careful thought to each note.”


Farrow | Do Right

Les Barbiers Dans la Ville Mauve | Le Rebord Du Monde

They were soon joined by Canadian percussionist/drummer Daniel Lunn and the trio began arranging compositions, building a new and thoughtful alternative sound. The music of the Barbiers exists in a world that reflects the imbalances of our time and adresses our ambivalent feelings of our wavering civilization. Les Barbiers have been influenced by progressive alternative rock (Radiohead, Archive, The Doors) and French songs (Mathieu Chedid, Jacques Dutronc, Feu Chatterton).”


Peter Lake | Stones Keep Rolling Through

GENRE: R&B / Soul.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Peter Lake is a New York City singer-songwriter who revels in anonymity. His musical influences include Curtis Mayfield, Motown, Billie Eilish and Rüfüs Du Sol. “This is a song about my first love,” he says. “It follows the arc that many of us have experienced. The protagonist is me and the same person who has inspired many of my sad songs. When you love someone or something you give it power over you. I personally believe this is a good thing to do. On the one hand, it can create pain. A stoic philosopher like Epictetus would say this is wrong — by giving up your power you are vulnerable to pain. But the stoics also miss the upside of vulnerability. Take that Epictetus!”


Romain Gutsy | My Only Love

Joris Bon | Soul Of A Breath

Matteo Longbois | Danger

It was a revelation; since then he has been interested in making electronic and technical music in his own style, taking inspiration from artists such as Daft Punk, Laurant Garnier and Todd Terry.”
