This came out in 2002 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Sure, this comedy-rock CD from Budweiser is just a marketing tool. So was Britney’s last album.
And this sucker is every bit as original — and twice as entertaining, with half a dozen song parodies that combine deft musical mimicry with dumb-guy drinking-buddy lyrics straight out of a Man Show script. Our Relationship is Getting Stronger With Every Golf Game That I Play tees off on The O’Jays’ Love Train; You’re Beautiful (Can I Go Up North This Weekend?) is the Barry White stuff; and It Takes A Special Woman to Make Sandwiches For The Guys is a spot-on takeoff of Styx’s equally overblown Lady. For the price — less than $5 at most stores — you won’t find a cooler Father’s Day present.
