Late-Night TV Music (Outdoorsy Edition) | Nov. 25, 2020

A Petty flock of Crows, Rauw Alejandro & J Balvin can help cure your cabin fever.

I don’t get cabin fever. If you do, the current combo platter of winter, pandemic lockdowns and (depending on where you live) an indoor holiday gathering fraught with tension, emotion and expectation probably doesn’t help your situation. But as always, the Late-Night TV Music gods and I are here to help. In this case, we’ve got some outdoorsy offerings from Wednesday’s chat shows.

Your choice is simple: You could hang out at a Unabomber shack with a flock of Sheryl Crows — and yeah, I know the correct term is murder of crows, but that just sounds a bit too creepy — while they cover Tom Petty’s You Don’t Know How It Feels for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Or you could turn a piece of silver fabric and some wood into a makeshift stage in a purple-hazed field to watch up-and-comer Rauw Alejandro share his single De Cora ᐸ3 with J Balvin on The Late Late Show With James Corden. Either way, I suggest you take a deep breath, relax and try to enjoy the rest of your day. Whether it includes a turkey dinner or not.
