We’re all doing the best we can with whatever we’ve got. And when it comes to late-night TV music segments, that typically means somebody strumming an acoustic guitar at home. On Wednesday night, the housebound someone in question was Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford, who crooned two numbers for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: His Major Lazer collaboration Lay Your Head On Me, and a cover of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s You’ll Never Walk Alone. Though really, a cover of The Police’s Don’t Stand So Close To Me probably would have been more appropriate. Ah well. That’s the way it goes. And that’s all we’ve got today. So make the most of it.
