The Pretenders’ Hate For Sale Tops Today’s Album Announcements

Chrissie Hynde and co. return to give you a break from endless news coverage.

I am not an idiot. Well … OK, actually I am. Just ask anyone who knows me. But I’m not a TOTAL idiot. I know that there are far more important things to deal with these days than some self-important musician’s upcoming album. But hey, maybe you’d like a break from monitoring the news stations for hours every day. I know I would. And if I can help take your mind off the depressing state of life, the universe and everything right now, I’m more than happy to oblige. Presumably, so are Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders, who just announced that their new album Hate For Sale will be out May 1. They also released the Kid-like preview single The Buzz, which you can check out above. You can also scroll down to see all the other recent announcements, or buzz over to the Upcoming Releases page for the entire massive list. I now return you to your regularly scheduled news briefing.
