Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real bring a timely message to the airwaves.

156

Sometimes, one is all you get. And sometimes, one is all you need. That’s how things shook out on Tuesday, when Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real were the only band on the late-night TV airwaves. Thankfully, their song Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) — performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live — could not be more timely. Whether you dig Lukas or not, this is great advice almost anytime, and especially right now. Bonus Track From the Future: For some reason, bucketheaded DJ Marshmello and country-pop dude Kane Brown have joined forces on the song One Thing Right, which they’re performing on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It’s probably the strangest duet you’ll see today. But even this still beats watching the damn news.
