Another day, another couple of dozen album-release announcements. For me, the best of today’s bunch is the news that North Mississippi Allstars will drop their umpteenth album Up & Rolling on Oct. 4 — though you can get a taste of what you’re in for in the preview track What You Gonna Do?, a swampy gospel-blues cover of the Staples Singers featuring none other than living legend Mavis Staples. Other big announcements today include new releases from Korn, Subhumans, Saul Williams, Pete Yorn and Ceremony. The full list is below. And as always, don’t forget to check the Upcoming Releases page for more.
