The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has just announced the list of nominees for induction in 2019. Def Leppard, Devo, Janet Jackson, John Prine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, MC5, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Todd Rundgren, Rufus & Chaka Kahn and The Zombies are all on the ballot. The ceremony takes place March 29 in Brooklyn at Barclays Center.
Nine of the 15 artists have been nominated before. LL Cool J and Kraftwerk have been up four times already, while The Zombies have been on the list three times. Newbies include Def Leppard, Fleetwood Mac’s Nicks, Devo, Roxy Music, Prine and Rundgren. While you debate who should make the cut, let’s go to the videotape:
