This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Slack Pavement vocals crossed with meticulous layers of jigsaw-puzzle guitar and piano arpeggios. Slowly pulsing beats complemented by soothing hypnotic grooves. Reflective moods contrasted with glitchy textures. Swirl them together for almost an hour and you have the delicate post-rock of singer-songwriter Ryan (Havergal) Murphy’s sophomore CD.
