This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
A decade before The Darkness preened and posed their way to the top of the pops, dread-headed Ginger and his Wildhearts were the wisecracking rock gods ascendant. Then they destroyed themselves with drugs.
Now they’ve risen from the grave to crank out more high-voltage power-chord pop-metal about the perils of fame, vanilla radio and believing in a thing called love. Just listen to the rhythm of their heart — along with the pounding of the kick drum — and you’ll know they mean business. Submit or be destroyed.
