Renzita Are Through With Bad Bad You

The cross-border duo use rock ’n’ roll to heal romantic wounds in their debut single.

Renzita have had enough of Bad Bad You in their explosive debut single — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

When bad love hurts you, it can really sting. The betrayal can cut deep and sometimes you feel the need to shame them for what they did. The cross-border duo of Renita Zintel from Lethbridge and Randy Lodder of El Paso both know this personally — but use rock ’n’ roll to heal their wounds.

Renzita are inspired by a melting pot of genres: Metal, hard rock, classical and jazz. After meeting in 2023, they formed Renzita and virtually recorded their first album My Sick Addiction. It has been added to over 90 radio stations and been nominated for the 2024 US ISSA Songwriter Awards, as well as Holland’s 2024 International Red Carpet Album Awards.

Renita has a diverse background in music, writing and singing in bands of many genres. She has released several blues and rock-based solo albums that have earned radio play. She also released an EP and an album with the band Fate Will Come in 2021. Randy worked and played his way through a series of Seattle rock bands like Dagger, Project Gunhead, Distant Thunder and Balance. He was one of the first Seattle players to use seven-string guitars. After moving to El Paso, he teamed up with Austin country veteran George Ransom in the country-rock band Ransom.
