Koncept is a mob boss (in more ways than one) in his new single and cinematic deepfake video Untouchable — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
The Queens rapper’s latest single makes you an offer you can’t refuse, swaggering confidently into the frame with a sinister bassline, a headnodding backbeat and some funky ’70s-style horns. As the track lays down the groove, Champagne Konny introduces himself, effortlessly coming off like the anti-hero in one of the classic gangster movies he celebrates in the video:
“I move the way I want, I’m untouchable, a made man
My word is my word, if I said it I don’t change plans
No weight on my shoulder ’cause I know I got a great tan
Dust ’em off knowing i’m untouchable, a made man.”
“This is your theme song when you feel like a boss like Tony Soprano, unstoppable as Mike Tyson, a champion like Michael Jordan,” says Koncept. “Right from the start the adrenaline of the bass and the live horns is going to make you feel Untouchable.”
Produced by George Reichart and Mark “Keitel Jr.” Lowe, Untouchable is the latest in a string of strong singles that are helping the New York rapper take his game from the streets to the stratosphere. Koncept’s tracks have been landing major sync placements in games, TV shows and movies. Shoot can be heard in NBA2K, Up The Mood is the closing song in the Jo Koy movie Easter Sunday, and Walking On The Sun is played at the beginning and end of the TV show Grails.
Koncept has been featured and performed alongside the likes of ASAP Ferg / ASAP Rocky, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, Masego, EarthGang, Ghostface Killa, The Roots, Action Bronson, Techn9ne, Pharoahe Monch, Brother Ali, Token, Blu & Exile, Scoop Deville and overseas superstars like Jay Park, Twopee, Thaitanium, Paloalto, VMC and more. He has sold out shows across the U.S., toured Europe, performed at Olympic Stadium in Seoul and spoken at Berklee College of Music in Spain.
