SirReal & RevRon whisk you to a land of babes, brunch and booze aboard a luxury yacht in the B.C. duo’s new single and video Henny On The Rocks — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
With a bass-heavy groove by Edmonton’s Kryple From Doom Squad, Henny On The Rocks is built on a unique sonic canvass that fits whether you’re in the club, cruisin’ in your ride, chillin’ at the crib or relaxin’ on the beach. Lyrically, SirReal and longtime collaborator RevRon continue to display a knack for conjuring up head-nodding original ear-worms while they lay well-crafted bars on any genre of music. Henny On The Rocks’ soft and sweet hook is delivered with the calming, soothing tone of a street-level lullaby, inviting you to journey to a place most will never reach.
Speaking of a journey: SirReal and RevRon had to move the entire video shoot — including the cast and crew — from their hometown of Nanaimo to Vancouver when their original date and yacht fell through. All’s well that ends well, though. Case in point: The stunning Luke Connor visuals, including swooping drone shots aboard the luxury yacht, complete with shimmering rays bouncing off of picturesque waves.
Matt Dunae, aka SirReal, has shared the stage with some of the biggest hip-hop artists of all time including Method Man and Redman, Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, T.I., Tech N9ne, Chef Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Nelly and Classified. A winner of countless talent contests, SirReal is a five-time winner of the Freestyle Battle Rap competition.
