I finally watched Licorice Pizza this morning, and was goddamn delighted to see Tom Waits chewing up the scenery (“You shiny, gold, tall, inexpensive prick!”). Then, as I was putting together this list, I stumbled across a video of Tom blasting through Goin’ Out West on the Arsenio Hall Show in 2002. I’d call that a good day.
