LAU needs to know what’s inside your head on her latest synthwave single Undecided — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
Simultaneously timeless and sleek, the instantly addictive track from London synth-pop singer-songwriter and drummer Laura Fares offers a seductive and stylish take on digital relationships in our modern age. Armed with swirling keys, a tight and booming backbeat and a razor-sharp chorus hook, LAU paints with a broad creative brush, balancing confidence and intimacy to her vocal delivery. As always, her lyrics — which examine falling in love in these pandemic times, dealing with a long-distance relationship and the uncertainty of it all — come straight from the heart and are real as they can be.
Originally hailing from Argentina, LAU spent a decade penning hits for other artists and touring with Sam Sparro, Clean Bandit, Ricky Martin, Taio Cruz, Big Black Delta, The Wanted, NINA and more. She finally stepped into the spotlight in 2020 with a series of singles, including Stunning, We Had Magic, Recognize and True, leading up her debut album Believer earlier this year. For Undecided, she teamed once again with Believer producer Brian Skeel to help bring her artistic vision to reality. Undecided is the first single from her highly anticipated sophomore album, due in February 2022.
