Dorian Ruiz | Ma Elle

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Pop.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “After the singles All My Life and Danse Avec Moi, Dorian Ruiz comes back and surprises again with Ma Elle, a deep and very meaningful title. Ma Elle denounces nothing, claims nothing but carries a powerful and assumed message, a message of acceptance that questions identity, self-esteem and love. Ma Elle rewrites codes and genres. Through the prism of androgyny, intermingle and disappear these same genres, synonymous with an identity imposed, polluted, endured and too often hidden. To love yourself, to love a man, to love a woman, the important thing is to love. Dorian Ruiz delivers a message of freedom, positivity and love, without ever disguising himself as a lesson giver.”

Candlelight tells the story of true love finally found. A story about the simpler things in life and the beauty within them. With a unique blend of acoustic rhythm, whaling pedal steel, and sprinkles of sparkly mandolin, Jack has created a heart-warming love song, but without the cheesiness. David Kelmer | Love Is A Way Of Living

HOME BASE: Canada.
GENRE: Indie-Pop.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “Studying as a professional drummer for 15 years, David Kelmer has enjoyed playing a variety of different genres through various covers, but now, he is ready to release his first single Love Is A Way Of Living. The song shares a vibe with The BeatlesA Day In The Life, as Kelmer reminisces about connections from elementary school to university. The instrumentation is simple and quaint, featuring a steady drumbeat and soft/tranquil vocals. The backing acoustic guitar and vocals give the track a trippy psychedelic feel — think Paul McCartney’s Ram. There are operatic breaks full of whimsy and wit and the message of the song is hammered in the listener’s mind constantly. Simply, this is a song about the joys of life and how love conquers all. It should be how we all live. “It’s about spreading love and peace of mind,” Kelmer says. He is gearing up for the release of his debut album Love Is A Way Of Living sometime this October.”

Velvet Stairs | Do You Copy? (ft. MIcky Green)

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Synth-Pop.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:Jean-Christophe Villain is a Parisian director and musician who makes music as Velvet Stairs. He spreads his reveries in mazes of instrumental melodies with imaginative scents, tinged with images formed by haunting calls of electro from elsewhere. Since 2014, he has been pursuing this musical project while making clips and visuals, exploring “cinematic” music, where sounds revisit and reinvent images. Images respond to music and music to image. When Micky Green’s pop universe meets Velvet Stairs, it results in a singular and cinematic track. A dive into the 80s, with stranger things accents with a resolutely contemporary sound.”

Harley | Mashup Prophetic
